Welcome to Café Zola!
We pride ourselves on being the best place for breakfast, lunch and dinner in Ann Arbor and beyond. We are an independently owned and operated business, which was opened by owners Hediye Batu and Alan Zakalik in March 1996. The name "Zola" comes from Emile Zola, the famous French writer, because the original breakfast and lunch menu is largely influenced by French cuisine and culture. Our dinner menu has flavors and recipes borrowed from Italian and Mediterranean cultures and cuisine, including some Turkish recipes.

At Café Zola, we use the freshest and beat ingedients for our omelettes, crêpes, waffles, salads, sandwiches, appetizers, entrees and pastries. We use a number of different suppliers to assure that we get the highest in quality and selection. Our coffee is specially blended and roasted by a small roaster in San Francisco, and is delivered fresh. Our tea has been selected selected from various sources for taste and quality. Our rotating wine selection has been chosen from various vineyards by owner Alan Zakalik. Any items we do not make ourselves from scratch come from small bakeries in the area. When possible, we always use organic produce, dairy, eggs, poultry, meat and seafood.

We have established a customer base from Ann Arbor and the surrounding communities, and have many guests who stop in on their visits from other states. We have established a close relationship with our guests and consider them to be like members of our family.

7:00am - 4:00pm daily
(omelettes and waffles not served after 3:00)

Dinner Hours:
5:00 - 10:00pm Sunday through Thursday
5:00 - 11:00pm Friday & Saturday
